A pallet of 800 hampers that reaches Sector 62 at 4pm on a Friday will sit at the gate until Monday. This is a sector-by-sector playbook for HR and admin teams running a 2026 Diwali programme across Noida and Greater Noida, written from what actually happens on the ground during the last week of October.
Sector-wise dispatch reality in Noida
Sector 62 / 63 (IT and services belt). The densest corporate cluster in Noida. Most towers here accept bulk inward between 10am and 5pm on weekdays only. Sector 62 is our fastest Noida drop — same-day from an NCR warehouse on in-stock SKUs, next-day on branded stock. Reception teams here are used to bulk deliveries, so a single consolidated drop with a named admin contact works well.
Sector 125 / 126 / 132 (Expressway corridor). Large campuses with dedicated logistics bays and strict appointment systems. You cannot walk a truck in. Book a delivery slot 24–48 hours ahead through your facilities team. The upside: once you have a slot, a 2,000-hamper drop clears in under two hours.
Sector 16A / Film City (media and broadcast). Irregular working hours and shift-based teams mean a single office drop leaves half the recipients unserved. For media clients we usually split: 60% to office reception, 40% direct to home addresses.
NSEZ (Noida Special Economic Zone). The one genuinely bureaucratic drop in Noida. Material entering an SEZ needs a gate pass raised by the unit, typically 48 hours ahead, plus invoice copies matching the pass exactly. Line-item descriptions must match your PO word for word or the consignment gets turned away at the gate. Build two extra days into the plan.
Greater Noida, Knowledge Park and YEIDA plots. Add one dispatch day over Sector 62. Manufacturing units here often want delivery aligned to shift changeover so hampers can be handed over at the gate rather than stored. Ask the plant HR lead which shift they want it timed to.

The 2026 Noida Diwali calendar, working backwards from November 8
By September 15 — lock the brief. Headcount split by tier, office vs home delivery ratio, budget per head, and whether client hampers are on the same PO. Changing headcount after mid-October is the single biggest cost driver we see.
By September 30 — approve the 3D mockup. Never approve 1,000 hampers off a render alone. Ask for a physical sample of the box, the brass diya and the greeting card. Sample turnaround is 5–7 days in NCR.

Employees: ₹1,200 – ₹2,000 per head. IT and SaaS teams in Sector 62 and along the Expressway cluster at the upper end. Manufacturing and back-office operations in Greater Noida sit at ₹900–₹1,400.

GST. ITC on employee and client gifts is blocked under Section 17(5)(h) of the CGST Act regardless of the SKU's rate. Budget on the gross-of-GST number. Insist on HSN-coded line items and an e-way bill for any inter-state leg above ₹50,000.
